For my graduation project, I developed the interior design concept for a currently open space in Moritzplatz, Berlin. Located in the heart of the city and next to the communal garden “Prinzessinengarten”, Green Salon is a community based plant & gardening store, vegan café and workshop space.
Awarded by the bdia for best graduation project in Bremen/Niedersachsen.

Amid the bustling city, Green Salon offers a place for creativity, diversity and communication. The key element is everything related to botanics and plants as the rising trend (or rather, comeback) for houseplants and urban gardening are getting more and more relevant and popular in recent times.
Engaging with nature and plants is not only a fun hobby, but brings many health benefits both physically and mentally. Conveying such values is the main goal in my concept.
Additionally, various craft workshops aim to inspire people to work more with their own hands again. No matter what age, cultural background, gender or even language, as long as people show interest in and have fun with these topics, it can be a place for everyone.
Working with organic, seasonal products and second hand goods, Green Salon also speaks about sustainability and a more conscious lifestyle.
